Set Aside a Day For Silence May 16
“Not merely an absence of noise, silence begins when a reasonable being withdraws from the noise to find peace and order in his inner sanctuary.” —Peter Minard
Join us for our Silent Retreat on Saturday, May 16 from 9am-3pm at WPC. It can be healing, restful, and inspiring to set aside a day of quiet to reconnect with God and go deeper into your soul. We will have a walking labyrinth in Hoffman Hall and the sanctuary will be open for prayer, meditation, and reading.
Bring your Bible, a journal, and any personal reading materials. We’ll provide reflection handouts, spiritual books, art supplies, a hand labyrinth, and meditations for walks around the neighborhood. Lunch will be provided—a $10 donation is requested. Sign up on the side porch today.
