Silent Retreat — June 10
“The soul does not use words. It surrounds words with space, and that it what I mean by silence.” —Richard Rohr, Silent Compassion
Could God be calling you to listen for him in a different way? To slow down enough to sense your soul? To give up “something to do” and listen for God? Our Silent Retreat on June 10 might be just that opportunity—a few hours of unplugging and providing an opening for breath, prayer, reading, walking, meditating or art.
Sponsored by the Spiritual Formation Committee and facilitated by Lisa Goalen and Rev. Matt Hardin, the retreat will be held here at WPC from 9am-3pm. The labyrinth will be available for use and lunch will be provided for a suggested donation of $10.
Email your RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org or call the church office at 310-474-4535.
