Throughout society, the word “community” is commonly used in a variety of contexts. In fact, we hear about it so much that we may not fully realize its true value or purpose, nor appreciate the characteristics needed to shape healthy communities.
In our upcoming WPC@10 series, we will take the time to refresh our understanding of what it means for us to be a part of a community. We will start by looking at God’s intentions in creating human beings and look at what Jesus did and said to promote a true sense of community among his followers.
Our discussion will be led by Dr. Scott Bartchy, UCLA Professor Emeritus of the History of Religions. Be sure to join us for this insightful new three-part course February 14, 21, & 28 in Hoffman Hall.
