The mission of Student Ministries at WPC is to bring our students into an intimate relationship with God, in which students will know the passionate love of Christ and desire to follow His example of service and ministry.
We are called to:
Equip students to share this unique love with one another and all of God’s people…
Prepare our students to be faithful and devoted followers of Christ, leaders of the Church, and advocates of justice in our fragmented society…
Develop mature disciples of Christ who hunger for the Word of God and who share this Good News not only by their mouths, but by their lifestyles, their thoughts, and their faithfulness…
…So that all whom they encounter may see and know Christ through them.
Student Ministries is Gearing up for an Exciting New Year!
If you are a student in middle or high school, then we hope you can join us Sundays for a fun and engaging opportunity to learn more about your faith. We will gather upstairs in the youth room during the 8:50 service, so make sure to set that alarm clock!
We also hope you can join us for Rooted, our time to come together and play games, discuss our lives and our faith, and spend time with awesome people. Rooted will take place every Tuesday evening, from 5:00 to 6:30 PM in the youth room.
Come and join our new Director of Student Ministries, Michael Ball, on Sunday mornings and for Rooted on Tuesday evenings! Contact Michael for more information at email@example.com.
Weekly Youth Group: Our Middle & High School ministry meets Tuesday nights from 5-6:30pm where we play awesome games and have great discussion as we live into the lives that Christ has called us to.
Student (6-12th grade) Sunday School: What are you hungry for? If you’re in 6-12th grade, join us for an engaging conversations about our faith. Come hungry and let’s learn together. Students join us in the sanctuary at the beginning of worship, and then leave during the second hymn to go to Sunday School. We invite all of our students to remain in worship on Communion Sundays so that we may all partake together in Holy Communion.
