Throughout the year the WPC prayer shawl knitters work lovingly on shawls and other items. Each stitch is done with a prayer! Pastors and deacons then distribute these shawls with a blessing to people within our church during times of need. This year, we are privileged to also donate over two dozen knit caps to immigrant children at the border who are in need of warmth. The children attending the FosterAll breakfast this month will also be receiving a selection of handmade items which we created. In addition, newborn caps are being distributed to the Kaiser Pediatric Oncology unit and a selection of scarves will be gifted to Safe Place for Youth (S.P.Y) during this holiday season.
