Today WPC warmly welcomes to our pulpit Dr. Charlene Jin Lee, a practical theologian whose work centers on themes of identity, voice, and context in spiritual formation. A dedicated professor to students at Loyola Marymount University and San Francisco Theological Seminary, Charlene has written on transformational teaching in recent articles that include “The Art of Supervision and Formation,” and “I Come from a Place: Reflections on the Womanist Classroom.” Charlene is currently discerning a transition from academia to parish ministry and recently served as interim pastoral associate at Brentwood Presbyterian Church. She holds a Ph.D. in religious education from Union Presbyterian Seminary and an Ed.M. from Harvard University.
