We are delighted to host two very important conversations in June as we live into our calling to be a welcoming and affirming faith community for all people. First, on Sunday, June 4th, we'll welcome biblical scholar Dr. Holly Hearon who will offer a fascinating presentation titled Reading Scripture through Queer Eyes. Holly is T.J. and Virginia Liggett Professor of Christian Traditions and New Testament (Emerita) at Christian Theological Seminary. From 2005-2009, she served on the Advisory Board for the Human Rights Campaign’s “Out in Scripture” project and contributed to their online lectionary resources. She also wrote on 1 and 2 Corinthians for The Queer Bible Commentary and is a teaching elder in the PCUSA.
