Dr. Wehrenfennig is the Executive Director and Founder of the Center for International Experiential Learning. His work has taken him through conflict-affected regions including the Middle East and Northern Ireland, and he previously founded the Olive Tree Initiative at UC Irvine, an experiential learning program designed to help students engage complex political and social realities with depth and nuance.
