Mission Corner: Esperanza Elementary School Greening Project

The Esperanza Elementary School Greening Project shows incredible progress.  In cooperation with the Los Angeles Neighborhood Land Trust WPC’s Earth Care donation has meant larger trees=more shade and less heat! Grass, stormwater capture, native plants and 33 trees placed for planting encompass an outdoor classroom, track, and wooden play structures. MAY 16 is our annual spring playday at Esperanza Elementary. Come see the greening progress and join the fun. Mark your calendars!
